About this item
The YUM® Scutter Bug blends the best attributes of top-performing baits into a single compact profile with superior adaptability. You can rig this creature bait on a Yum Hard Head for a proven presentation that draws savage reaction strikes, thread it on a Texas rig for lifelike swimming action, or pinch off the legs for a streamlined glide bait effect on a Carolina rig to tempt fish holding deep. Hyper-active swimming legs with specialized foot pads kick and flutter with even the slightest twitch. Removing the legs transforms the bait into a sleek, gliding lure with a slow, tantalizing fall. A slim yet wide, ridge-textured body provides both water displacement and realism, with a solid head section for durability and a hollow rear portion for enhanced action. Pairing the Scutter Bug with Yum's Hardhead Swinging Football Jig Head unleashes full "Bottom Buggin" crankbait-style movement boasting a tournament-winning resume.
