The Sugar Bytes DrumComputer is a plug-in instrument that combines classic and modern synthesis into 8 electronic drum engines and welds them to a powerful 16-step sequencer. Intelligent randomizers, intuitive pattern editing and the ability to import your own samples allows for an unlimited wealth of sounds and groove possibilities. The instrument can be used in standalone mode or as an AU/AAX/VST plug-in within your DAW.

Sound Engines

8 individual sound engines contain DSP parameters; share presets and exchange sounds between engines

3 synthesis layers cover a broad variety of timbres: a classical analog-sounding Resonator, the Analog/Wavetable oscillator, plus the Resynth layer bring you liquidized cymbals, snares, and synths

Each of the eight kit channels provides a preset browser for the individual sound, controls for global pitch and decay, a modify knob, and a profiled random function

Define a Mute group in order to make a trigger on one engine choke the sound on another engine

Use Choke Groups for open/closed hi-hat choking and interesting synth sounds

The Finalizer is a well-balanced blend of transient shaper, compressor, maximizer, and saturation. Use it to bring out the attacks on your drums and let the room breath
