About this item
This Essential Software Bundle from Sound Particles features a granular doubler, a delay plug-in, and two automatic panners that are controlled by either loudness or frequency. The plug-ins support AAX Native, AUv2, and VSTS3 plug-ins running on DAWs on Windows and Mac systems.
Stereo, Immersive, and Binaural Outputs
From stereo, 7.1, and HOA to binaural and Dolby Atmos, Brightness Panner gives you several output options based on virtual microphone technology:
Stereo: a stereo render mode of gains based in the channel particle position
Stereo (XY): a stereo render mode with a virtual X/Y microphone
Stereo (MS): a stereo render mode with a virtual M/S (mid/side) microphone
Stereo (Blumlein): a stereo render mode with a virtual Blumlein microphone
Binaural: a binaural render based on the SADIE MINP KU100 dataset
Ambisonics (ACN/SN3D): an ambisonics render based on the ambisonics input
5.0: a 5.0 VBAP multichannel render
5.1: a 5.1 VBAP multichannel render
7.0: a 7.0 VBAP multichannel render
7.1: a 7.1 VBAP multichannel render
7.0.2: a 7.1.2 VBAP multichannel render
7.1.2: a 7.1.2 VBAP multichannel render
Sliding Mode
Whenever the audio signal is within the frequency or pitch range, the sound source moves on a trajectory that you define. As opposed to pan mode, the sound source does not return to the starting point as soon as the signal falls outside that range. The sound source will freeze that position until the audio signal is back within the range again, leading to a new shift of the sound source in the dome space.
Pitch Analysis
Brightness Panner identifies the pitch of individual notes and pans them in 3D according to a range of pitch values set by the user.
MIDI Analysis
Brightness Panner receives MIDI notes and pans sounds in 3D according to a range of MIDI notes set by the user.
Visualization Dome
Track every single movement the sounds are making through the main component of the plug-in's UI: the dome. Watch as visualizer particles follow your preset paths or their own based on the sound intensity.
Randomization
Running out of ideas? Don't worry. The Energy Panner has a randomize option that outputs a new result each time you click it.

Dynamic Movement
Easily set how the sounds will move. For instance, will they move from the speakers position to the center, or will they move clockwise starting from a custom position? The choice is up to you.
Side Chain
Use external signals to control the effect of the plug-in instead of using the track's sound for this.
Panning Mode
The Pan mode is essentially normal end-to-end particle-based panning. This type of panning effect changes the position of the sound source between two points (start point to end point) previously defined by you. Therefore, the greater the energy of the input signal the greater the shift from the starting point to the end point.
Sliding Mode
Whenever the audio signal reaches a certain level (threshold value), the sound source moves on a trajectory that you define. As opposed to pan mode, the sound source does not return to the starting point as soon as the signal level drops. The sound source will freeze that position until the audio signal exceeds the threshold value again, leading to a new shift of the sound source in the dome space.
Delays that Move
Define the movement of your delays easily and organically—static, rotate, random, float, and up-down.
Soundscape Mode
The much guarded secrets of creating perfect soundscapes. Not a secret anymore and now at your fingertips.
Particles System
3D engine, loved by Hollywood, Bollywood, and beyond, running in your delay. Pure magic for composers and sound designers.
Up to 100 Delays
Play with up to 100 delays at once.
Delays in Space
Maximum control of your mix. Position your delays anywhere around you, as your mind desires.
Craziness
What happens when Particles party all night long? Hear for yourself to find out.
Random Presets
Looking for something new but don't know where to start? Randomness dice is a creative gold mine ready to be explored.
Input Customization
Choose the source, or sources of each delay tap.
Feedback Space Patterns
Feedback in space with multiple patterns.
Audio History
See in real-time how your delays evolve in your timeline.
Air Simulation
Add air absorption to realistically simulate the distance and depth of each delay particle. Physics happening.
Full Feedback Control
Set the number of delay taps you'd like to hear with feedback count, and position your handlers to pan with ease.
Multiple Presets
Dozens of presets for you to work with.
Time Editor
Click and drag on the Time Editor to intuitively change multiple parameters at the same time. Creating stellar delays has never been easier.
30+ Output Formats
Convert your input to all major output formats—from mono to stereo, from 5.1 to Ambisonics, Dolby Atmos and more.
Filters
Add as many filters as you'd like, to design your most creative delay yet.
The Basics
Time, Gain, Feedback, and basic parameters made easy.
Link Channels
Customize each channel separately, or apply the same delay settings to everything through Link All.
Detune Mode
This mode is perfect to create the feeling of various layers. The Detune Mode has more advanced controls that allow you to fine-tune some parameters related to the generation of grains and the movement of the voices.
Pitch/Multipitch Mode
This mode creates multiple groups of voices with individual controls for pitch, number of voices, and gain, allowing harmonization like a choir and giving you the most realistic and most creative results.
All Formats
Take advantage of creating in all the following formats: Stereo (XY, MS, Blumlein), binaural, LCR/LCRS, quadraphonic, 4.0, 5.1, 7.1, 9.1, 11.1. 13.1. 22.2, Dolby Atmos, up to 6th order, ambisonics, and more.
Movement
Make grains move to bring more life to your sounds by choosing its movement patterns.
Top View
A circular visual representation of your layers in a 3D space. Each grain gets it's own visual particle and moves around in the spherical visualizer to represent its spatial movement and position.
Layering
Separate control of input and generated voices allow you to easily automate the gain of the generated voices and precisely control your music performance.
Randomization
Use presets or the randomization tool to explore multiple out-of-the-box results in a fast way.
