MeldaProduction MDoubleTracker Stereo Expander (Download)

Get the classic sound of double-tracking in half the time using MeldaProduction MDoubleTracker, a plug-in designed for mixing and sound design. Instead of recording two of the same guitar parts and panning them left/right, you can use this plug-in to achieve a similar effect. Of course, MDoubleTracker works on vocals too, as well as any other instrument you'd like to double.

Pitch and Time Controls

MDoubleTracker tries to simulate the good old trick of recording the same performance multiple times, panning one to the left and the other to the right. To do that, MDoubleTracker uses a system of variating delay lines to pitch-shift each channel just a little bit, up on one side, down on the other.

Stereo FX

With a combination of the right settings and the right dry/wet blend, you can create stereo effects akin to phasing and chorusing.

Based on Classic Processing

MDoubleTracker is based on tried-and-true digital techniques used for decades on hardware modules such as the Eventide H3000. MeldaProduction has updated these effects to provide users with extra features and deeper controls.

Extended Controls

The Focus control defines the minimal frequency used for the stereo expansion. You can use this to get rid of widening and phasiness in the low part of spectrum.
