About this item
"The design is inspired by the 1839 European photographer Talbot, who was also a highly talented botanist. Many of the plants he collected were from his own garden at Lacock Abbey. This photograph of spring leaves is currently in the collection of the Royal Photographic Society at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The Retro Chic designer drew inspiration from the texture of spring leaves, incorporating the veins and flowing lines of the leaves into the design, making wearing it feel like being immersed in nature."
