About this item
2008 release, the first-ever CD compilation of Gibson's up-tempo recordings, including the original versions of' Oh Lonesome Me' and 'Sea of Heartbreak'. Many rarities and obscurities, all of them rockin'! Gibson's career broke wide open at the dawn of the Rock 'N' Roll era, and he made some Rock-flavored records with a very individualistic slant. This long-overdue collection assembles all of Don Gibson's up-tempo sides, programmed for listenability and engineered for sonic perfection. Bear Family.
