About this item
Until now, auto-retraction on scrapers was a noble but unrealistic idea. Any spring-loaded blade required the user to hold out a blade extension slider, absorbing all the kickback force directly into their thumb or finger joints. This design flaw is not a problem for a quick scrape, but it is not ergonomically viable for long-term use. The Slice SureScrape design changes that. SureScrape catches, absorbs, and dissipates kickback force throughout the handle, saving hand joints from repetitive strain. In this way, the Slice auto-retract scraper handles like a manual one. In addition to features like its proprietary safety blade and ergonomic soft-touch grips, viable auto-retraction makes the 10593 the safest scraper on the market. This ambidextrous scraper comes equipped with a rounded-tip utility blade and is ideal for scraping paint, rust, and adhesives.
